Rebekah (she/her) is Assistant Professor of Anglophone World Literature at Weber State University, Utah. The focus of her search is African anglophone literature, and the entanglements of postcolonial, decolonial and postsecular theory and practice. 

She is the author of Postsecular Poetics: Negotiating the Sacred and Secular in Contemporary African Fiction (2022) and co-editor of the “The Body Now” (2020), a special issue of Interventions: International Journal of Postcolonial Studies. Her publications have appeared in The Journal of Commonwealth Literature, Interventions, Wasafiri, Sikh Formations and Gothic Studies, as well as in collections for Edinburgh University Press and Bloomsbury.
