Peter Carter & Natasha Howard
Dr Peter Carter (he/him) is a Consultant Psychiatrist in North East London and works with young people experiencing their first episode of psychosis. He has held leadership roles in postgraduate education within the trust and championed the voice and needs of learners in doing so. He is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Ethics and Law at Anglia Ruskin University and is also curriculum lead for Wellbeing and Sustainability. His academic interest is in the permissibility of euthanasia for people with mental illness. Beyond work he enjoys buying and riding bikes.
Natasha (she/her) is Head of Knowledge & Library Services at North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT). Natasha is a Fellow of the CILIP: the Library and Information Association. She has over 20 years of experience in the library and information sector and was joint winner of the CILIP Knowledge & Information Management (K&IM) Special Interest Group and UK e-Information Group (UKeIG) Information Manager of the Year Award 2020. Natasha is passionate about health inequalities and health and digital literacy. She is a trustee of Success For All Educational Trust (SFAET), a multi academy school trust. In her spare time she enjoys running (slowly) and can often be found participating and volunteering at local park runs.
